The Taxpayers are Tired of Funding ACORN

There seems to be a lot of hypocrisy going on in Washington and we should add the activities of ACORN to the list. For years, we have been hearing about the questionable actions affiliated with this organization that has received taxpayer dollars to provide housing and other services. If voter fraud charges weren’t enough, we’ve now seen the videos that raise even more questions.

Today, I joined with my Republican colleagues to send a letter to President Obama asking him to disclose and terminate all taxpayer funding of ACORN. If the President does not to take action, I have also signed onto legislation to stop federal funding of ACORN once and for all.

The American taxpayers have spoken loud and clear; they are tired of funding this organization. It’s time for Washington to listen.
